Enable Java and Javascript: Chrome


Enable JavaScript for Chrome. Support for Java with Chrome ended with Chrome version 42. If your browser is newer than version 42, you will need to use another browser – like IE or Safari. Not sure what kind of browser or version you are using? Check out http://whatbrowser.org. To be sure that your Chrome browser settings allow JavaScript, follow these steps. Open Chrome and select the Chrome menu button. From the menu, select Settings. The Settings menu is displayed. Select the link titled Show advanced settings . . at the bottom of the menu. When selected, the advanced settings menu is displayed. Select the Content settings button under the Privacy heading. Under the JavaScript heading, select the radio button “Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)”. Select Done. Close and re-open Chrome. You’re ready to go.
