People. Insight. Anna.

This is Anna, one of Accenture’s
hardworking programmers. Look at the
focus in her eyes. You might think that
she’s analyzing her code to check if there’s
any room for optimization. But is she? The truth is, Anna isn’t
your typical programmer. Her programming story
began a few years ago at, wouldn’t you believe it,
optometry studies. After three
years of studying, she realised that
she wanted to do something more creative, and left just
a week before she had to hand in her
bachelor’s thesis. After that, she applied
to Accenture Bootcamp and, well, the rest is history. I really enjoy creating
something out of nothing. Everything you see
on a computer screen is programmable. It is also a very
logical process. If you want to implement
something new on an existing system, you have to come up
with a way to do so, without breaking
other processes. If you manage to
overcome this challenge, you’re rewarded with an amazing sense
of accomplishment. When Anna isn’t coding, she enjoys riding
her longboard, the occasional gaming
session with friends and, of course,
playing with cats. The thing I value
the most at Accenture is the stability. Work in such an
established company provides you with just
the right opportunities you might need in order
to improve your skills. For instance, when
I first started out, I couldn’t imagine
doing things I do now. Who knows what will
happen in the future?
