Programming BFT Mitto 2 & Mitto 4 Garage & Gate Remote Controls

I am going to show you in this video how program a BFT MITTO 2 remote to your gate or garage door system now you can see it from different examples of the Mitto remotes that have been used over the years there are a few different models these ones at the top just different
colours all work on the same coding system every remote here will work on the same system but just different styles, as you
can see the top ones have got four buttons the bottom ones have two buttons so going to show first of all you need to
identify which remote you have I will just move these four out of the way so these are the three main types that are used this one here is the oldest version you need to check you can tell its the oldest version if you turn it over and check on the back you can see it’s
got a hole there which has a secret button inside which is
used for programming the newer version of that remote on the
back didn’t have the hole instead the secret button what you did was held the two buttons together & after a short delay the light comes on
there and after a short delay the light comes on and that does exactly the same function as
pressing the secret button inside there where the hole is as you can see when I press that the light comes on this is the newest style Mitto the Mitto
2 B and again it works on the same coding
system the casing has just been updated and the secret button on this one again
you hold the two buttons together after a short delay in a light comes on
and that’s the secret button like I say that’s used for programming in so when you’ve identified which remote you’ve got you then need to go & and stand next
to your gate or garage door system and carry
out the next process of the programming so once you’ve identified which type remotely you are presently
using on the system & you’ve gone & stood next to the gate or door system I’ll show you the process that carry out to then add the new
remote so we’re going take it I’ll show you on the different ones but if you take it that these bottom four all working remotes on system minute this top one is a new
one that I want to add so I’ll start from this side so this is the
oldest type remote which had the hole in the back so what
you do to add remote using this one is you will take something like a
paperclip press the button in the back you feel it click and turn the remote over and press the button that you normally use
operate the gate or door let go of that that take the new remote press and hold both buttons in together short delay & the light comes on let go and then press which everybody want to
add into the system let go give it about 15-20 seconds and
then try that remote & that remote should work so that’s that one done if you’ve got this style Remote which
is the one without the hole in the back what you do is again
starting from scratch you Press both buttons together there will be a short delay the light comes on let go and then press the button you normally use to operate the system and then take your new remote
and again two buttons together short delay light comes on let go and then press the button want add into
the system again wait 20 seconds then try that remote that’s that one these two the newest style so if you are using these the differences with the two button
version & a four button version the only thing that you do
is if it’s a four button use the top two buttons to do the programming so I’ll show you using the four button but it is exactly the same does
so stand next to the gates or door
press the top two buttons together first be short delay & the light comes on let go and then press the button and only use
on the system and then take the remote you want to add do the two buttons together a short delay and the light comes on let go and press the button I want to add to the system again wait 20 seconds and Try that remote
and that should be working and thats programming complete
